Meet The Trainers: Cory Sweeney

If you've participated in early morning ARX classes this summer, you've likely met Cory Sweeney, a high energy and charismatic intern-turned-trainer. Though his bread and butter is working with student athletes, he has been teaching many of the crack-of-dawn ARX adult classes this summer as well.

A 2014 graduate of Bridgewater State University with a degree in business management and marketing, Cory also has a strong background in athletics, both playing and coaching.

As an athlete, he donned the pads for both Bridgewater's football team, as well as Tuscola High School's varsity squad back in Waynesville, North Carolina, where he also played basketball and ran track. While at Bridgewater, he won the university's Unsung Hero award for football in 2014, and built team spirit during a stint as BSU's mascot, Bristaco the Bear. In addition, Cory has coached both football and basketball, and currently runs the summer fitness program at Milford High School in Milford, Mass.
